Each year Taranaki is the home to many annual events and one-off tours.  From huge concerts at the TSB Bowl of Brooklands to intimate exhibitions and races around our magnificent mountain, there is something for everyone.

WOMAD - World of Music, Arts and Dance is an international festival which brings together artists from all over the globe.  WOMAD has been held in New Plymouth since early 2000's and is held in March each year.

Each summer from late December to early February Pukekura Park is transformed into a magical illuminated night-time wonderland of multi-colours lights gleaming amongst the trees of the botanical gardens with the annual Festival of Lights.  100,000 visits come each year and enjoy the night-time entertainment from national and international performances and the stunning lighting features.
